Hi, I’m Nohely
I’ve learned that being an adult means turning down the volume of what you’ve learned is the “correct” way to do things and turning UP the volume of that inner voice that guides you into having higher levels of self-understanding and personal evolution.
Personally, it’s been a journey of finding my truth and removing the words, “what-would-they-think?” from my mentality.
Journaling and reading books have helped me… like A LOT. Especially during the critical, turning-point moments in my life (I think I find myself in quite a few of those these days).
One thing I learned: I actually like the part of adulting where I have to make hard decisions. These moments shake things up and have me experiencing things that I never thought I would. I guess I’ve learned to accept the diversity and mixture of experiences it brings into my life (even though I can rock the hell out of a routine if it means taking care of my family).
This is true even when I make the wrong decisions. Because even though it may bring me suffering, there’s usually an equal seed of opportunity for me to experience the exact opposite. The wrong-turns become blessings in disguise.
Funny enough, I’ve thought about making a blog for exactly 5 years now. Since Fall of 2013, to be exact. I suppose life said I had a thing or two to learn before I do. And that meant, I had some fuck-ups to make before being qualified to teach the world something.
If life were a game, here’s what I’ve come to believe about how to play it right,
- The name of the game is surrender.
- Surrendering at each moment means allowing your experiences to happen, without judgment, so that they can teach you and empower you.
- The goal of the game is to evolve. To achieve higher levels of self-awareness, understanding, empowerment, growth, and authenticity. To step into the next best version of yourself… and then the next… and then the next.
If you’re not evolving, you’re losing.
If you lose, I lose.
We all lose.
Which is why we need leaders and community builders to show up. We need more people who have some thoughts on how to make the world a better place, to step it up.
But, first things first… and that’s YOU.
How can you turn up the volume of that small but powerful inner voice? How can you achieve the level of self-understanding that the world needs from you? How can you surrender and allow your experiences to empower you? Yes, even the shitty ones. How can you play this game, right?
I’m here to show you how. Begin by reading my FREE eBook, Clarify your Personal Vision Statement for Self-Discovery and Social Change.
